Morning Star (music video)

Morning Star is a single by Dutch artist Pitou, with cover art and production photography shot on the surface of a lake. The project was directed by Bastiaan Lochs, whose starting point was a childhood memory of watching a magician walk on water, a image that shaped every visual decision. Working as a still photographer on this production, I documented both the making of the shoot and the cover art itself, across analogue and digital mediums. The result is a series of set photographs that sit as close to the music as the lake sat to the sky.
